How long does delivery take?

Since many products are imported directly from the USA, delivery time varies depending on availability. You can see current availability on the respective product page. If you have questions about a specific order, feel free to reach out via our contact form.

Where do I find info on shipping costs and payment?

How do I track my order?

After shipping you receive tracking by email. You can also view your order status at any time in your customer account under “My orders”.

Muss mein Umbau eingetragen werden?

In Germany, vehicle modifications (e.g. lift kits over 4 cm, wheel spacers) may require registration. We recommend contacting the responsible inspection organization (TÜV, DEKRA) before installation — our support team is happy to help.

What is the difference between a lift kit and a leveling kit?

A leveling kit raises the front axle only and evens out the factory rake, typically 1.5 to 2.5 inches. A lift kit raises the whole vehicle, typically 3 to 8 inches, and replaces more components. The leveling kit is the cheaper entry point.

Why does the product advisor ask about the drive?

Because the same model needs different suspension depending on the drive. A four-wheel-drive Ford F-150 has a different front axle than the rear-wheel version. Choosing wrong means getting a part that does not fit, so the question is not optional.

Do I need new brake lines after a lift?

From roughly 4 inches of lift, yes. The axle then hangs lower and the standard brake line is under permanent tension. Extended lines cost around 50 to 190 euro. After fitting, the brake system has to be bled – that is workshop work.

Does the speedometer need correcting after fitting larger tyres?

Yes. Larger tyres turn more slowly, but the control unit keeps calculating with the original rolling circumference, so the speedometer reads low. A calibrator teaches the new diameter via the diagnostic port. A correct speedometer is a legal requirement for road use in Germany.

Do Rough Country parts fit European models?

Only where the vehicle matches the US model technically. That is the case for the Nissan Navara and Frontier, and for the Ford Ranger depending on generation. For European-only developments, generally not. The vehicle finder shows what is verified to fit.

Where do you ship to?

Within Europe only. We do not ship to North America, Asia, Africa, Australia or South America. Large and heavy items such as suspension kits go by freight forwarder; the price is calculated per consignment from postcode, weight and dimensions.

Which payment methods are available?

PayPal, credit and debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, SEPA direct debit, bank transfer in advance, and instalments via PayPal. No PayPal account is needed for card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Is roughcountry.de the manufacturer's site?

No. roughcountry.de is the authorised German dealer shop, operated by Goeren Truck Shop e. K. in Lüneburg. The manufacturer is Rough Country in the USA. German law and our terms apply here, not the US statements on warranty or returns.
